I decided to use different cutters to make my mince pie pastry lids and the stars were definitely my favourite. I did however put too much mincemeat in the pies and a lot bubbled over! Oh well, they were still tasty and sticky.
Once they had been baked and cooled I dusted them with some icing sugar. They were enjoyed by us all and Jack's parents yesterday, so I think I need to make some more this week!
